Reference sample

Xunding sample

Glue belongs in the joint. Threads stretching across the inside of a fruit tray add nothing to the box and leave a finish that a customer will notice. These two samples show why adhesive placement matters when comparing box forming equipment.
What the two samples show
The reference sample on the left was made using a leading-brand box forming machine. The red circle highlights threads of adhesive across the inside panel. On the right, the Xunding sample has a cleaner interior, with no similar glue threads visible in the photograph.
The trays have different structures. When comparing configurations for your own production, review adhesive placement on the actual blank you will run. Check the joints and the visible inside surfaces together.
Apply adhesive to the joint, not the inside panel
Our approach is to control nozzle application around the intended bonding areas. The aim is to avoid stray adhesive, form tidy corners and leave the rest of the tray clean. A neat glue application helps give the finished paper box a better appearance.
Keeping adhesive where it is needed also helps avoid unnecessary glue use. For a production review, use your actual board and blank, then check the glue pattern and formed joints together. Adhesive consumption depends on the box design and the machine setup. Include it in the sample review alongside the joint condition and finished appearance.
The quotation in this case
For the equipment compared in this case, Xunding’s quoted price was 70% of the alternative quotation. This figure describes the quotations in this comparison, rather than a fixed discount across the Xunding range.
Compare the equipment included in a quote as carefully as the price. Confirm feeding, forming, adhesive application, conveying, tooling and the box designs to be run. Jason Chen can prepare a quotation against your own tray drawing, board and required output.
Spare parts and support after delivery
Xunding provides after-sales support and responds promptly to spare parts requests. Include the machine model, a clear photograph of the part and a description of the issue so the team can identify what is needed.
An engineer can also be sent to site for installation or service. Contact us with the machine, location and work required to arrange the visit and agree the timing and scope. These support arrangements belong in the purchase discussion alongside the equipment and delivery terms.
