MACHINE FEATURES
The XD-09 is designed for the packaging operations described below. Compare its working dimensions and features with your box drawing and production requirements.
Vacuum suction picks up the cardboard blank for feeding into the machine. During a sample trial, check that the board separates cleanly and enters in the correct position, especially when blanks are warped or vary in thickness.
Servo-controlled motion is used in the forming process. Review the sequence with your box sample and confirm the settings and adjustments required when moving to another box size.
Photoelectric sensors track the production process. Ask to see the sensor positions and the response to an incorrectly positioned blank during the equipment review; the response depends on the ordered configuration.
Blanks move through successive positions in the folding and forming process. Review how the box is held and transferred at each stage, with particular attention to corners, joints and the discharge arrangement.

A mailer has a lid attached to the body and folded side sections. Its tabs, lid and corner folds determine the forming sequence. Printed board can be used, but print quality comes from the supplied blank.
