Customer case: carton sealing on a packaging line

Carton sealing equipment and roller conveyors at a customer site, with a robot and people beside the line
Carton sealing equipment on a customer’s packaging line.

A carton sealer has to fit the packing line around it. At this customer site, sealing equipment stands beside roller conveyors and a robot, with the team working next to the equipment. The layout brings the machine, carton transfer and working space into the same conversation.

The sealing area and carton transfer

The roller sections connect the sealing area with the next part of the line. For a project like this, carton size and the way each box reaches the sealer matter as much as the machine footprint. The conveyor height, direction of travel and space around the equipment need to fit the customer’s packing operation.

Start with the cartons you actually pack. List the smallest and largest sizes, the board construction and how often operators change between formats. These details help define the sealing configuration and the adjustments needed during a working shift.

Working beside other equipment

The site view also includes a robot and a control station beside the conveyors. Where sealing equipment works alongside other machinery, the connections and operating sequence need to be agreed for the complete line.

A layout drawing helps make that discussion specific. Include the incoming and outgoing equipment, access for operators, the site electrical supply and any required control connections. The final arrangement depends on the equipment and interfaces included in the order.

From the site layout to a machine enquiry

Send Jason Chen your carton dimensions, tape requirements and a drawing or photographs of the packing area. Explain whether the sealer will be used on its own or connected to other equipment, and describe the output you need from the line.

For support with a machine already on site, include its model reference and clear photographs of the part or connection being discussed. Xunding can then review the requirement, identify the relevant spare parts and discuss an engineer visit where needed.
